A sign cover — also called a sign bag or toaster cover — is a custom-fabricated vinyl sleeve that slides over an existing sign cabinet like a pillowcase, covering the front, back, top, and sides without disturbing the structure. The most common uses: franchise rebranding, business conversions, and emergency cover for damaged signs. Fabricating them correctly means printing a large-format graphic to exact 3D cabinet dimensions, then sewing a fitted enclosure with grommets and rope lacing at the base to hold it in place. Almost no shop can do both. Imperial has been doing both since 1993.

Trade Finishing
A subcontract finishing service for print shops that produce large-format banners but don't have in-house finishing equipment. Send us your printed piece — we return it ready to hang.
Industrial-sewn hems on all four sides. Standard 1-inch fold, double-stitched for strength. Available on vinyl and mesh materials.
Brass grommets installed every 2 ft. around the perimeter. Set into reinforced corners and edges for long-term outdoor hanging.
Sewn sleeves on top, bottom, or both edges for inserting display poles or rods. Standard 3-inch flat pocket available.
Extra stitching at all four corners — the highest-stress points on any hung banner. Extends the usable life of the piece significantly.
Heavy-duty D-rings sewn into reinforced webbing tabs — ideal for fixed anchor points and cable or rope suspension systems.
Heavy-duty woven webbing strips attached along edges or as anchor tabs — provides structural reinforcement on large or heavy installs.
